Wheal Eliza is a cricket ground in St Austell, Cornwall, UK. The ground was established in 1982, when Cornwall played Dorset in the grounds first Minor Counties Championship match. From 1982 to the present day, it has hosted 25 Minor Counties matches.[1]
The first List-A match played on the ground came in the 1995 NatWest Trophy between Cornwall and Middlesex, with the second and final List-A fixture played on the ground to date involving Cornwall and Warwickshire, with Cornwall losing both matches. [2]
In local domestic cricket, Wheal Eliza is the home ground of St Austell Cricket Club who play in the Cornwall Cricket League.[3]
